Hello. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with the saline shots. Any problems afterward?

There should be no serious problem with a saline shot.

I have had a problem after an injection. I was just wondering if anyone else has had one. Please answer if anyone has.

have you consulted with a doctor after the symptoms? what conplications did you get?

I ended up in the ER and emergency surgery. After shot I had 3 days of over 103 temp. Abdomen covered with pus pockets and abscesses, concentrated more heavily on the port-a-cath. The dr report says there was a tunnel of pus from the port to the lab band. Both ER surgeons said had to have been a bad needle or unclean saline. No other reason it could be. Now I don't know where to go to get the saline that is still in the lap band out. My sister-in-law who works for insurance companies granting permission for hospital stays says it happens a lot and that is why she won't have the procedure even if she stays fat.

I have never heard of it till now
